There has been a lot of moving going on this spring in the DDD, and two of our members in Clifton Square have big news.
Tissue Sewing Studio
Moving & Expanding
Nina Winter, owner of Tissu Sewing Studio, is about to double the size of her business when she moves to a new 2,125 square foot building at 2326 E. Douglas, directly across from East High.
Tissu is a fashion sewing "school" bringing back - with style - time-honored fashion arts & crafts with a modern twist.
The new studio will continue and expand their offerings of fashion camps for kids, and offer a sewing lounge. They also will sell sewing tools and supplies and showcase fashion from their students and local designers.
The move should happen around June 1, 2018.
Opening a new store: Clifton Collective
Juliana Phillips, owner of Everyday Beaut is adding on…a whole new business! She recently opened Clifton Collective: Midwest Maker Exchange.
The new business is a collective of Midwest Makers located in Clifton Square, just down the way from her Everyday Beaut Lash Lounge & Skincare Boutique.
Juliana always offered a smattering of handcrafted goods at Everyday Beaut, but now her passion for all things local, Midwest and handcrafted will all be found under one roof.
Clifton Collective offers makers from around the Midwest the opportunity to showcase their goods. There will be candles, jewelry, clothing, honey and more.
You can visit Clifton Collective at 3700 E. Douglas, Suite 40, from 11am to 8pm Monday-Friday and from 10am – 6pm on Saturday.
